# SiteSubnet

## Representation

The SiteSubnet node represents an Active Directory subnet object. Its name identifies an IP address range, and its `siteObject` attribute associates that range with a [Site](/resources/nodes/site). This mapping determines which site a computer belongs to for site-based GPO application.

## Node properties

The node supports the properties of the table below.

| Display Name | The subnet name, expressed as an IP address and prefix length. |
| Object ID | The subnet object's object GUID, a unique identifier in Active Directory. |
| Created | The time when the subnet object was created in the directory. |
| Description | The contents of the `description` field for the subnet object. |
